I’ve Grown Fond of you (Work in Progress) As I put together this series of images I am putting together images that relate to my relationship with my girlfriend. Both the time we spend together and the time we spend apart. I inject apples and an apple tree as symbolism, one showing a passage of time as the apple changes throughout the seasons but also a reference to hades and persephonies story using the pomegranate as a symbol in it’s story. With tiny glimpses of intimate moments we spend together and an overarching practice of photographing in the absence of her I want to reflect on these memories.
